| Press release: Ann Noël presents an installation with large letters of the alphabet carefully painted in acrylic colours on the backside of “ORWO” photographic paper 30 x 40 cm. They are mounted onto lengths of plastic film and hang in space. The letters make up the favourite German words that Ann Noël has gathered from artist-colleagues. Most of them are non-German, but have been involved with the language for some years. Each letter is an artwork in itself, every word is a composition and the whole installation becomes a conceptual word game relevant to the contemporary art scene. |

| In 2002 Monika Kaiser organised a series of exhibitions in collaboration with werkfabrik at the Halle LinX, Holsteinsche Strasse 39, (or through the Main Entrance to the Goerz-Höfe at Rheinstrasse 45) in Steglitz, under the general working title “Die versunkenen Projekte: 180 Tage Kunst”. My exhibition was the third in the series, and took place from 14.05. – 29.05. |
